Recognising and Rewarding Excellence in Education Foodservice

Aimed at rewarding excellence in schools across the country, the School Food Awards (SFAs) were developed to celebrate and promote Scotland’s educational institutions that prioritise wellbeing, sustainability, healthy living and the provision of high quality food and nutrition.

As a mark of distinction and a unique marketing advantage for finalists and winners, the awards highlight the commitment of schools that are helping to improve the lives of pupils and staff, while recognising the initiatives, people and policies that promote better health and productivity.

Judged by a panel of leading experts from across the sector, the SFAs are open to local authority and independent schools – both mainstream and special – throughout Scotland, and will showcase the highest levels of achievement, innovation, community cooperation and development.

Entries are open now and will close at Midnight on Friday 14th June. Schools can browse the categories, view the criteria and complete the entry forms here.
